Troubleshooting

Depending on the issue you’re having, you might be able to troubleshoot your hearing device using a few quick tips:

  • Replace the battery to see if that helps

  • Check to make sure your batteries are not old or past their best-by date

  • Clean your hearing system, particularly near the end that goes into the ear

  • Run your cleaning wire over the microphone(s)

  • If you have a hollow tube, run your cleaning wire through the tube

  • Replace the wax filter or wax guard, if applicable

  • Open and close the battery compartment. Is the battery positioned correctly?
